One course consists of 48 hours of instruction per semester. This represents 16 weeks in a regular semester or 8 weeks in a summer semester. One credit hour of the course work represents one class hour per week.
Final grades in courses are A, B, C, D, and F. A and B are passing. Any student, who receives a grade of C or below in a certain course, will need to retake that course. The interpretation of letter grades given is as follows: A-Excellent; B-Good; C-Continuation Competency; D-Unsatisfactory; F-Failure. Courses taken under the Pass-Fail system are graded P (Passing) or F (Failure).
